Water Testing and Monitoring Service
As part of your Legionella control programme, AH Allen can undertake bacterial analysis of your water services to test the efficacy of your current regimes. Samples can be taken for Legionella as well as general bacteria in hot and cold systems. We can also test the drinking water quality in your building, giving you the reassurance that it is fit for consumption. All samples are analysed in a UKAS Accredited Laboratory with results presented in a certificate format.
Ensuring your water services are operating in the correct temperature regime is the traditional approach for Legionella control. AH Allen can carry out temperature testing on your water services, giving you the reassurance that your current control measures are working effectively.
Water Management Consultancy
Water services documentation is a critical part of your Legionella management system. AH Allen can audit your current documentation to ensure you are meeting your legal duties under the Approved Code of Practice, HSC ACop L8. We can also provide bespoke water management documentation systems for properties in your portfolio. This enables the records and controls in place to be documented and maintained for auditing by external authorities such as Environmental Health Officers.
We can provide you with assistance in selecting water treatment contractors and programmes, to ensure they are tailored to specific building risk rather than generic off the shelf products.
Our environmental consultants are well versed in the demands upon clients, and any advice given is always based on practical and commercial solutions. We are not linked to any third parties such as water treatment contractors, and always act in the interests of our clients.
